It's crazy, but unfortunately true... I ended up learning what it's like to use the bathroom in a man's body.

[ Her voice seems to be serious, which shows that she isn't lying. Not to mention that there's a something there that practically screams why as the temperature sinks, but it's more gloomy than icy. ]

Well, the specifics of it were that basically my soul, along with the soul of four others I knew would be moved around to different bodies at random intervals. We wouldn't know when we'd be in another person's body or how long, so we had to pretend that everything was fine and even acted out the lives of the person whose body we ended up in. All of it was for this -- this thing's entertainment. Or maybe experiment would be a better word. I was essentially a guinea pig. Of course, the body swapping wasn't the only thing I had to deal with, but you get the gist of it, right?

[ That's... a lot to take in. It honestly sounds like the plot of a science fiction movie. ]

Yeah, I do. [ As hard as it is to believe. ] What ended up happening? Did you make the experiments stop?

[ She shakes her head in response. ] No, not of our own volition. It only stopped when it wanted to stop. And honestly, I don't know if I'll somehow wind up going home and that bastard will just drop another one on us. You actually saw a little bit of one of the experiments once... in a memory that I didn't remember. It was the one where I was a child. It was part of that.

Anyway, there's parts of what happened that I have gaps, although I know what happened. But that's it. Whether it's over or not doesn't really matter here, does it? I plan on figuring out everything when I get back, but... I just wanted to get that off my chest. Sorry for being so selfish like always, Yuuri.

[ She smiles, but it's one that's a little bitter. ] Um, so... ah, did you want to talk about something else?

[ He shakes his head. ]

It's okay, really. I'm... just glad you told me. [ After all, Yuuri knows Inaba likes to keep things to herself, and although he knew there was more going on in her world than she let on ever since he saw that one memory he wanted to wait until Inaba was ready to tell him. And he's glad she finally did. ]

Ah, well, I guess I didn't really think about what I wanted to talk about when I came up to you. [ Namely because there's a lot they need to talk about and he doesn't know where to start. ]

What, seriously?

[ She can't help but laugh a little bit, almost poking fun at him. ] You don't just come up to someone not knowing what to talk about! What if I didn't want to talk to begin with, huh?!

[ His face heats up a little at the teasing. ]

I don't know! I guess I would've waited a little longer to talk to you.

[ She can't help but laugh a little bit at him, just a little bit. ]

Well then, why didn't you, idiot? [ Inaba's feeling a little more confident, smiling at him. ] Geez... don't answer that, by the way, I already know the answer.

[ Yuuri smiles back, thankful for this small moment of normalcy between them. It's nice. ]

Thanks for telling me everything, by the way. [ He hoped that she would eventually, but he wasn't always sure that she actually would. ]

[ Her cheeks color a little bit and she finds herself looking away awkwardly. ]

Ah, um... you're welcome.

[ Now she doesn't know what else to say. ]

[ Yuuri looks away too, looking down at the ground. He knew it'd get awkward at some point, and well... He might as well share on his end too. ]

So... I told Wolfram about everything.

Eh?

[ She can't help but blink several times as she finally looks up, right at him. That's something that she didn't expect to come out of him right at this very moment. ]

Wait, what do you mean 'everything'? How much did you tell him?

Ah, well... I told him that we started dating in December...

[ And that he wasn't sure if they still were now but he's not exactly going to bring that up just yet. ]

To be honest, I don't really remember everything I told him. [ Since Wolfram was kind of threatening him with a sword but it's fine!! ]

That... doesn't sound good.

[ The fact that he doesn't remember everything is definitely concerning and she can't help but sigh. ]

And it's almost December too, isn't it?

You know... it could've gone worse.

[ Their house is safe and that's what matters.

He smiles, a little sadly. ]

[ But she's still a little concerned about him, just a bit. ] It really did. I honestly can't believe it's been that long though, ahaha.

Me too. [ He shifts a little, looking up at the sky.

He definitely wants to go home, because he has so much to do but at the same time... ]

...Do you know if we remember everything when we go back? [ Although Yuuri should know that by now, he's been too afraid to look, afraid of what he'd find out. ]

I heard that people sometimes don't remember anything of this place when they go back, which is what I'm worried about.

[ Then again, she's always worried. That much is made even more obvious with the cold air that brushes around the area. ]

[ The cold air tells Yuuri that Inaba is definitely worried about it, and he understands. His gaze shifts toward the ground. ]

...So am I. We can't even choose when we go back either. [ It makes him wonder why they're here in the first place, but he's not going to say that to Inaba, not when he's sure she's probably already had that thought before. ]

[ It's a short, but rather apt answer that expresses pretty much all her feelings on the matter. ]

The same goes for the other way around too, you know? We don't know if or when anybody will show up. But I'm not expecting anything anymore.

That's true... After a while, I kind of gave up on expecting anyone else showing up.

[ But then Wolfram appeared. ] Still, it's always possible. But maybe it's better not to expect anything.

Yeah, same here. I honestly... don't know if I want any of the others to be here.

[ She smiles, a little pitifully. ] But if you don't expect anything, well. You can't be disappointed by anything. But you can't anticipate anything, either.

[ He turns to look at her. ]

Yeah... I was actually caught by surprise when Wolfram appeared, but if I expected him that probably wouldn't have happened, you know? But it still sucks to never see anyone else from back home either, even when you hope to.

That's true. But I really don't want the others here. Some of the things here... just hit too close to home.
