[ He glances down at the floor, noticing the ice starting to form. As much as he wants to press it, seeing the ice tells him it's not a good idea. ]

[With the way he words it, it's probably obvious that he knows. He knows full well that she's lying. But then again, she didn't hide it very well. Yet he respects her space; something she appreciates as she wears a soft smile, taking a breath in, and then out.]

I... [She chews on her lower lip, gaze lowered.] Thank you. I don't know if I'll ever want to. But thank you for not pressing the issue.

I won't make you talk about it if you obviously don't want to. Even if I do want to know. [ She gives her a small smile. ]

We all have things that are hard to talk about, though. Things that'd be hard to explain.

It just... scares me, the idea of having someone know. The consequences of speaking about it.

Like... you physically can't get hurt easily or you're just good at not getting hurt?

I can get hurt, but it's hard to hurt me when I actually use my powers.

[ Which he hates doing since he doesn't have full control over them just yet. ]

I also have people here and back home who have pledged to protect me. But I won't stand back and let them get hurt either.

That's only when you actually use your powers though... right?

They usually manifest on their own when I'm in trouble though.
